The 100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum, Thorpe Abbotts, UK and The Museum of the Air Battle over the Ore Mountains, Kovarska, Czech Republic are both dedicated to preserving the memory of the sacrifice of the men of the 100th Bomb Group, USAAF in World War II.
Both museums, as long-standing partners and members of the 100th BG family, are now delighted to announce they have formed a Strategic Partnership whereby they will collaborate on research, communication, information sharing, mutual assistance and co-promotion. They will work together to further the memory of the 100th Bomb Group in Europe.
More details will follow, but we can announce that a new exhibit dedicated to the Ruhland mission will be installed at Thorpe Abbotts by the Kovarska museum team in Spring or early Summer 2026.
