OCTOBER 2018 FILM NIGHT

*** SOLD OUT ***

Join us on 10th October at 7.30pm for our always popular film night. 10th October marks the 75th Anniversary of the 100th Bomb Group's mission to Munster. One of the films will depict this event.

The remaining programme features several films exploring WW2 aviation. You won’t be disappointed.

On 10th October 1943 the 100th Bomb Group undertook a mission to Munster, Germany. It was Rosie Rosenthal's third mission with the 100th Bomb Group. Of the 13 aircraft (carrying ten men each) which took off from Norfolk, Rosie's crew was the only 100th Bomb Group plane to return home to Thorpe Abbotts that day. Photograph above shows Rosie front row, second from left with his crew of 'Rosie's Riveters'.

Tickets priced at £5 (members £4). Tickets will be available on a first come first serve basis, and can be reserved by sending a cheque for the full amount (payable to the ‘100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum’) to the following address: Mrs Margaret Hopgood, 12 Needham Rd, Harleston, Norfolk, IP20 9JY.
